This comprehensive 7-hour course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to recognize, evaluate, and control fall hazards in the workplace. Delivered with 3M’s industry-leading equipment and training standards, the program emphasizes both theory and hands-on practice to ensure participants leave with confidence in their ability to work safely at heights.

Course Objectives:

• Understand legislative requirements and employer/worker responsibilities for fall protection.
   
• Identify common fall hazards in marine and industrial environments.
   
• Demonstrate proper inspection, donning, and adjustment of fall protection harnesses and equipment.
   
• Apply safe anchoring and connection methods.
   
• Perform safe use of energy-absorbing lanyards, SRLs (self-retracting lifelines), and vertical systems.
   
• Review emergency planning and rescue considerations.
   

Delivery Method: Classroom theory and hands-on practical training using 3M fall protection systems.

Course Length: 7 hours (1 day)

Certification: Upon successful completion, participants will receive a 3M Fall Protection Training certificate valid for 3 years.
