At Brizo Marine, our mission is to advance maritime safety through excellence in marine education, training, and innovation. We are committed to preparing seafarers, offshore workers, and marine professionals to meet the highest international safety standards. Through hands-on learning, professional expertise, and a focus on responsibility toward people and the environment, we strive to create a more sustainable future for all who work and travel on the water.
Land Acknowledgment
Brizo Marine Training acknowledges with deep respect that the land on which we live, work, and teach is the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish people, who have cared for these lands, waters, and skies since time immemorial. We recognize the enduring connection that Indigenous Peoples have to this territory and honor their histories, languages, and cultures, which are fundamental to the stewardship of the oceans and waterways we depend upon for marine education and maritime safety. As a marine training organization, we are especially mindful of the teachings of respect, safety, and responsibility on the water—values that Indigenous communities have upheld for generations. We commit to integrating this respect into our courses, our operations, and our relationships, paving the way for a sustainable future. We honor the Elders, past, present, and emerging, and extend this acknowledgment to all Indigenous Peoples who continue to walk with strength and resilience across these lands and waters.
